Very professional heavy weight envelopes, and good heavy glue. I wrote on mine with a white gel pin, it looked great and went on better than I thought it would for having a metallic finish.

i ordered these in black and they are very shimmery so i wouldn't write on them, they would be better if you used labels instead. but that is just my opinion. all in all, this is a good product.
